During the iPhone 11 launch event, when Apple introduced the camera of the device, the company revealed that its new trio of smartphones will have a new feature known as Deep Fusion.

And today, a well-known Samsung insider, Ice Universe has said that the company “Samsung” is also developing a similar mode for its next flagship device – Possibly the Galaxy S11 of next year.

Reportedly, Deep Fusion mode will take a total of 9 photos, before you click the shutter button. At this point, the camera of iPhone 11 will automatically take 4 main photos and 4 sub-images, then when the user presses the shutter button, the device will capture an image with a long exposure.

At last, the A13 Bionic processor will use algorithms to combine these images to produce a well-detailed photo. As such, this mode will work almost the same as HDR + mode on Google's Pixel devices.

The new imaging feature is said to take full advantage of the NPU processing capabilities in the new SoC Exynos found on the Galaxy S11. It is expected that this mode can be updated on Galaxy devices in the near future.
