The official release date for the next version of the macOS from Apple is very close. Hence, it's called Catalina. Apple has previously revealed it will release a new update widely to all users in October this year, but did not specify the exact date.

However, on Thursday, while introducing Apple's macOS Danish version, information on the website may have inadvertently revealed the official launch date of Catalina, which is this Friday.

Advertisement about the Apple Arcade subscription game posted on the Danish version of macOS Catalina website said that the service will be available on the App Store on October 4. Hence it stated, “the ultimate gaming experience. Find it on the App Store on October 4.”

At present, this information has been erased, thereby making it clear that only Apple Arcade will launch on macOS this October.

Currently, Apple Arcade has been launched for mobile devices running iOS, and the service is expected to reach Mac computers through the macOS Catalina update in October.

So if Apple Arcade will be available on Mac computers on October 4, this means that the Catalina update will have to be released on October 4 or even before that time. Meanwhile, Apple has not yet commented on this information.
