After a long period of silence, the CEO Essential, Andy Rubin, who was dubbed the “father of Android,” has introduced a new smartphone with a strange design. He however, shared it on his Twitter timeline.
Meanwhile, we still don't know the name of the smartphone yet but the design is extremely long, slender and seem to be running on Android operating system.
At first glance, it can be seen that it is quite similar to the Galaxy Fold when the screen is folded via the rear camera.
It seems that this design, though it fits in the palm of the hand, but the screen is way too long and will be difficult to use. Hence, the entertainment experience will probably be affected.
A spokesperson for Essential confirmed that the company is still working on a test version of the device.
At this time there is no scheduled launch time for the device, nor any information regarding to the configuration of the device has been shared.
