Not quite long ago, Sony confirmed PlayStation 5 by the end of 2020. However, Sony has not revealed much about its fifth-generation gaming console.
Fortunately, today, we now have the real-life image of this console as it has been leaked, thereby giving us the first overview of the Dev Kit PS 5 design for developers.
This information was shared on a YouTube channel known as ZoneofTech. The image of the PlayStation 5 XDK leaked is very similar to that described in Sony's patent.
Leaked images show that the Dev Kit PlayStation 5 has a special V-shaped exhaust system - many people believe that the V is the symbol for the number 5 in the Roman figure.
Besides, most ports are located on the front of the device. Specifically, on the left side will have an optical drive that can support Blue-ray disks and above are the control buttons including: On Standby, Reset, Eject, System Init, Network Init.
On the opposite side are connectors including one USB Type B port and five USB Type A ports. Based on the colors, ZoneofTech can only predict the first port will be the standard USB 2.0 and the next three ports will be USB 3.0.

Additionally, there is a small circle above the USB ports which is predicted to be a camera that allows players to stream. This design has a high reliability when the number and location of connectors coincide with the drawings contained in the patent. However, this is only a prototype for developers when the upper left of the machine has the words: "Prototype 1 not for sale".
However, we still have to wait until the end of 2020 when Sony will officially launch the PlayStation 5 and this is just a developer version so it probably won't be the final design of the device.
