Ubisoft has admitted frustration with Ghost Recon Breakpoint, the game did not meet the high expectations of the company. The negative critical reception and the very low sales were the main factors for such a disappointment. However, the company says it has learned from this so as not to miss in the next releases.

At the last investor meeting, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guilhemot explained that Ubisoft failed to "capitalize on the full potential of the latest AAA titles such as Ghost Recon Breakpoint."

According to him, there were three reasons that led to the failure: the difficulty in generating interest in multiplayer game sequences, the lack of game optimization and there were no innovations compared to Wildlands that caught the consumer's attention.

Despite commercial failure, Guilhemot has ensured that the game will continue to be supported, just like any other company titles. And as the community points out more mistakes, the company will correct them.

Speaking of bugs, a few days ago Ubisoft had released a 10.6 GB patch for Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Several bugs have been fixed, including vehicle physics and incorrect enemy spawn.
