As reported, Xiaomi will launch a series of new products next month, on November 5, one of the most notable of which is the Mi Watch. After a long time of pursuing the smartband, Xiaomi is also about to officially launch its own smartwatch.

Xiaomi is no stranger to the wearables market, it has made a name for itself with the Mi Band smart bracelet, but no smartwatches yet. Products like Amazfit belong to their partner Amazfit, not Xiaomi itself. Therefore, the Mi Watch is the company's first product in this market.

Today, the actual image of Mi Watch has been revealed by CEO Lei Jun through Weibo, based on which we can see this product is influenced by the Apple Watch design with a square face and a rotary knob on the side.

Another image shows how the Mi Watch's edge is made square and in addition to the knob there is another button on the right edge.

Xiaomi however said that the Mi Watch will have features like high-end smartwatches, such as independent WiFi support, GPS and NFC, and will come with a linear motor and speakers.

The watch will also support eSIM, so you will most likely make a call right away with your watch if you really want to. The Mi Watch is powered by Qualcomm SoC, according to XDA Developer, it could be Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100.
