Recently, the Checkra1n Jailbreak development team has released the first test version of this tool, allowing people to perform device cracking operations from iOS version 12.3 to 13.2.2.

Checkra1n is a tool to support Semi-Tethered Jailbreak (reboot device must be unlocked) for version iOS 12.3 to iOS 13.2.2, developed based on the “checkm8” exploit by Luca Todesco as project leader.

If you do not know, Luca has released many jailbreak support tools on previous versions of iOS, and has many positive contributions in the jailbreak community.

According to the update on the homepage, Checkra1n Jailbreak will support devices from iPhone 5s to iPhone X, iOS version from iOS 12.3 to iOS 13.2.2.

However, the default package manager on Checkra1n in the current version is Cydia, in the official release can support some other managers such as Sileo, Installer or Zebra.

Currently, Checkra1n Jailbreak will release the first version for macOS. Hence, Windows and Linux users need to wait a while longer when everything is stable.
