Following the launch of the new iPhone trio, Apple will transform the iPhone's screen size in 2020, releasing models that are both smaller and larger than existing models. Hence, this report is according to Korean ETNews. National citation sources from industry.

ETNews said Apple will launch a 5.4-inch iPhone, another iPhone with a 6.1-inch screen and a new iPhone with the largest screen at 6.7 inches. iPhone 2019 models include iPhone 11 with a 6.1-inch screen, iPhone 11 Pro with a 5.8-inch screen and iPhone 11 Pro Max with a 6.5-inch screen.

The report says Apple is planning to use 5.4-inch and 6.7-inch screens from Samsung Display and it will use the same OLED technology from the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. LG Display will provide an OLED panel for the 6.1-inch model.

Apple however, did not immediately comment on this information. Of course, that happens to go in concordant with Apple's tradition.

iPhone 11 currently uses an LCD screen. LCDs are cheaper than OLED but don't have as good colors, or bright white and deep blacks as OLEDs do, which makes it less attractive for viewing photos and movies.

ETNews said it is likely that Apple will introduce more than four iPhones, including a model that will support 5G. Leading Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of TF International Securities has said that all of Apple's 2020 iPhones will be equipped with 5G modems.

iPhone 2020 is expected to launch in September as Apple's tradition, Kuo also said Apple will launch new cheap iPhone worth $399 in the first quarter of 2020, could be called iPhone SE2. The device is expected to be used externally like the current iPhone 8 but will have the A13 Bionic chip running on Apple's 11-series iPhone.
