Today, the DXOMARK website officially announced the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G camera score. Among them, it scored 134 points for taking pictures, 102 points for video shooting, and an overall score of 123 points, thereby taking the first place on the DXOMARK mobile phone list.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G and Huawei Mate 30 Pro LTE versions have the same camera hardware, but in theory, any differences in camera performance should be attributed to changes in software and tuning optimization. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G rear camera is equipped with four separate modules, including a time-of-flight ToF sensor for 3D depth measurement in bokeh mode.
Ultra wide-angle lens with 40MPQuad-Bayer sensor and f / 1.7 aperture lens, telephoto lens supports a 3x lens with a focal length of 80mm, and an ultra-wide-angle camera with a large 1 / 1.54 inch sensor and fast f /1.8 aperture.
Compared with the 4G version, the biggest difference between the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is that it is equipped with Kirin 990 5G processor. It however, uses the new ISP5.0 and implements BM3D (Block-Matching and 3D filtering) SLR hardware noise reduction on the mobile phone chip for the first time.

Technologically, taking pictures of dark scenes is brighter and clearer. This is why the upgrade of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G version is stronger than the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. The front camera is relatively better in noise reduction technology and the night scene is better and brighter.
It is worth noting that the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G version has improved details and noise management, and autofocus is more stable under zoom. The effect will also be slightly better when shooting in low light, and the dynamic range is wider when using bokeh mode.

In video mode, autofocus, detail, and noise have also been improved. The only flaw is that compared to competing products, the field of viewing the effective focal length of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro ultra-wide-angle camera is not wide, and now with the new anti-distortion algorithm, the field of view has become smaller.
Overall, the camera difference between the Huawei Mate 30 Pro LTE model and the 5G version is not large, but it can be detected.
