Apple has officially added certain logo engraving options for the AirPods charging box, allowing customers to choose the engraving emoticon characters on their devices.
AirPods can always be engraved but are limited in writing and there is no option to add emoticons. Therefore, Apple updates highlight the engraving options on the main website and when customers visit, will choose one of the AirPods models including AirPods 1, 2 and Pro.
Customers can personalize their AirPods during the purchase process when they can choose from a number of emoticon characters, although not all emoticons are available. Options like smiley face, tongue sticking face, etc. are also available with many other animals.
In addition, there are symbols of ghosts, unicorns, bears, skulls, dragons, dung, snakes and animals from the Chinese zodiac. Customers choose only 1 of 2: text or emoticons, because emoticons are engraved very large.
Apple has also adjusted the same size with the text that can be added to AirPods. The engraved emoticon option is available for all AirPods models and applies to the charging box for each order.
