According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple has had a strong fourth quarter with the iPhone 11, helping it dominate global sales. However, this manufacturer's first quarter sales could be affected by the Corona disease.

Specifically, according to Ming-Chi Kuo's prediction, iPhone shipments will be reduced by 10%, to only 36 - 40 million units in the first quarter of 2020. This prediction was made despite Foxconn (outsourcing partner of Apple) confirmed that the production will not be affected.

Reportedly, the camera and some other iPhone components are being manufactured at the Foxconn factory, in Wuhan, the center of the disease.

In addition to the iPhone 11 series, Apple plans to produce more iPhone 9 (or iPhone SE 2) in the near future. At a low price, this is also one of the weapons that helps Apple increase its market share.

At the moment, Apple stores in China have closed because of the Corona pandemic. According to Mr. Kuo's data, iPhone purchasing power in China has decreased by 50-60% compared to last year.
