Checkra1n updates to, supports Project Sandcastle to install Android on iPhone || DOWNLOAD CHECKRA1N JAILBREAK V0.9.8 FOR MACOS || DOWNLOAD CHECKRA1N JAILBREAK V0.9.8 FOR LINUX

Not long after the first build of Project Sandcastle was publicly tested, the jailbreak Checkra1n development team released a new update to better support the Android installation process on the iPhone, while fixing some errors found from previous versions.

In case you didn't know, Project Sandcastle is a project that allows users to install an Android (tweaked) build on an iPhone, through cracking the device with Checkra1n to weaken the security layer created by Sandbox.

Changes In This Update:

  • Fix some errors found from the previous version
  • Fix TODO errors
  • Officially supporting SandCastle
  • Mining may not work well on some devices, such as Raspberry Pi Zero and Raspberry Pi 3
  • Apple TV 4K will probably produce a -20 error even if the jailbreak process is successful.

Note: Sandbox is an important component on any iPhone, where Apple sets limits and operating rules for hardware.
