Microsoft officially introduces the next update of Windows 10: 20H2 || What's Microsoft's November Windows 10 Update

Recently, Microsoft officially announced Windows 10 20H2 - the next major update of the Windows 10 operating system and thus, it will be released this year.

NAME AND RELEASE DATE:

As usual, the second major Windows 10 update will be released in Q4. More specifically, Windows 10 20H2 will be released around October - November of this year. 2020. Regarding the name, we can assume it to be Windows 10 November 2020 Update if this update is released in November as every year.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN WINDOWS 10 20H2:

One sad thing in Microsoft's announcement this time is that Windows 10 20H2 will break the precedent, breaking even the expectations of many believers waiting for new features or breakthrough changes of Windows 10.

According to Microsoft, this update focuses primarily on improving security, performance and increasing the quality of user experience.

However, besides the new Microsoft Edge browser that uses the Chromium kernel installed by default, a notable change in settings on Windows 10 20H2 is that users will not be able to see the build number of the session. Current Windows 10 version under Settings=> System=> About as it is now.

This means that after upgrading to the 20H2 versions, we only know the code of the operating system version, but did not know what the build (or can know by the "hard" way like go to lookup in Command Prompt for example).

Currently, Windows 10 20H2 is being tested on the Dev Channel, Windows Insider Program. More details will be constantly updated by Microsoft through changelogs of the trials released on this channel.
