
According to veteran Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple's "iPhone 12" rear camera cluster has improved image quality a lot.
In a new research note that MacRumors discovered, Kuo said that Largan will provide high-end camera lenses for Apple to use on its phones from mid-July. little compared to a few years ago.
Production has been delayed for 4 to 6 weeks in the second half of this year, making the time for peak lens delivery to fall around September - November, instead of August - October as before.
Kuo did not mention the reason for this delay in his notes, but, most likely, the cause of this came from the worldwide outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. Apple is still expected to announce new iPhones in September, but there are rumors that some iPhone models may appear in October or November.
Kuo's new note doesn't specifically specify what kind of "premium" lens will be used in the iPhone 12, but in an earlier note, he stated that the 6.7-inch iPhone model will have many improvements in the Multi-rear clusters, including larger sensors, can capture more light, resulting in better image quality.
Expectedly, the high-end 6.7-inch and 6.1-inch iPhones will have 3 cameras, while the lower-end 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch iPhone versions will only have dual cameras.
