BlackBerry-branded phones are about to be reborn thanks to security company Onward Mobility. Earlier this year, TCL and BlackBerry officially confirmed "the way everyone goes", meaning that TCL will not launch or manufacture any new BlackBerry-branded smartphones.
The idea that the name BlackBerry would only be a thing of the past, now, they suddenly announced their return to the smartphone market thanks to a little-known mobile security company, Onward Mobility. Specifically, the website of Onward (USA) has released an announcement that says " new 5G BlackBerry phones " will be released next year.
Onward Mobility says that these new phones will "have a high level of security capabilities" and provide users with a "complete set of security solutions". However, the company did not specify what these specific security features and solutions were.
Onward's website added that it will work with BlackBerry and Foxconn's subsidiary - FIH Mobile - to design and manufacture new phones. It is not known what the new BlackBerry phones will look like, but news site 9to5Google revealed a device that will feature the legendary physical keyboard of the BlackBerry product line.

Onward Mobility has no outstanding record in the smartphone industry, so maybe we can only wait to see what they are up to. As for the fans of Black Strawberry, there is nothing more to say but "Congratulations!"
