Xiaomi Launches MIUI 12 For Redmi Users In India, Here's The List Of Eligible Devices

Xiaomi, Redmi has started rolling out the much awaited MIUI 12 update for suitable smartphones in India. Xiaomi is yet to announce the whole list of smartphones that can get the update. However, a list of smartphones have been revealed that will be the first to receive the MIUI 12 update.

Within the first phase of the roll out Xiaomi  claims that the MIUI 12 update will be released for: Mi 10, Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note Eight Professional, Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro for now.

This new MIUI 12 update introduces a lot of cosmetic modifications in addition to feature additions in the interface. This includes a new notification shade, new animations, special wallpaper themes and plenty of other tweaks.

Notification Shade: A new notification shade icons will be available with multiple sizes. The animation style on the notification shade has been updated to make it look more attractive and clear.

Privacy Protection : Aside from the newest security patches, MIUI 12 will provide some new options to maintain privacy. The user may have an option to delete metadata from an image before sharing it. This additionally contains critical data like location.
