Here's How The New Source Interface On MIUI 13 Looks Like

MIUI 12 is still being rolled out to devices, but Xiaomi is working on the next version, MIUI 13. Although it wasn't until the year after MIUI 13 was released, information about new features began to appear.

A user named Enes Keskin shared on Telegram a short video supposedly MIUI 13's new source menu animation. The short clip shows the source menu with a slider that can be pulled up to reboot the device or pull down to turn off the power.

For devices running MIUI 12, when you hold down the power button, the power menu covers the entire screen and shows four buttons - Airplane Mode, Silent, Restart and Power Off.

However, the power menu for MIUI 13 shown above does not cover the entire screen but it seems that it still blurs what's on the screen when it appears.

If this is the real MIUI 13 interface then it is likely just an early test, so it is not certain if this redesigned source menu will be included in the final stable release when MIUI 13 is announced next year or not.
