Due To High Demand, iPhone 12 Pro Has Been Limited In China

Apple launched its newest line of iPhone 12 smartphones not long ago. Currently, the market signal for these devices is very high and it seems that the Apple family is having difficulty in meeting that demand.

In China, it seems that the iPhone 12 Pro is the best-selling device out of the four newly released models. Due to this situation, some people are speculating on this device and selling it for a very high price.

According to Apple's own website in China, the waiting time for iPhone 12 Pro to be available will be about 3-4 weeks, while this figure for other versions, including iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini, it's just 5-7 days.

Due to rising demand, Apple has increased production by 2 million devices, recent reports said. However, the Apple family is also facing many difficulties in the process of supplying power chips for the iPhone. Failure to purchase those chips could hurt the company's sales this year, or at least this quarter.

According to estimates by Cinda Securities, demand for the iPhone 12 series is likely to reach 80-85 million units. It is also estimated that the number of iPhone 12 shipped in 2021 will be around 230-240 million units.
If this happens, the iPhone 12 will become Apple's best-selling phone series ever. Currently, that record is held by the iPhone 6 / iPhone 6 Plus duo with estimated shipments of 224 million units.
