iOS 14.2 suspected of causing rapid battery drain and longer charging time
Recently many of the iPhone users have been complaining about serious battery drain issues on their iPhones, which they suspect to be software-related.

According to some users, they began to experience the serious battery drain issues on their iPhones after upgrading their iPhones to iOS 14.2.

Some of these battery drain issues are rapid battery drain and longer charging time, which could be attributed to a device losing more than 50% of its battery in less than 30 minutes of use.

The iPhone models experiencing these battery drain issues are mostly older iPhone models such as the iPhone XS, iPhone 7, iPhone 6s and first-generation iPhone SE.

Users of the aforementioned iPhone models should postpone their plans of updating to iOS 14.2, if they haven't done so, since it's likely possible that Apple will fix these battery drain issues on the next update.
