The latest renderings of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series were exposed. LetsGoDigital co-designer Giuseppe Spinelli drew a series of renderings based on reliable information.
Compared with the previous renderings of OnLeaks, 99% of the details are consistent. Only the Ultra model adds a sensor (the brand new ISOCell Vizion 3D ToF sensor manufactured by Samsung, located above the flash).
As the top model in the S series, S21 Ultra is different from S21 and S21+ in some respects. The machine is equipped with the largest display, the best camera and the largest battery, but the screen has been reduced from 6.9 inches to 6.8 inches. This will facilitate the handheld and also reduce the risk of accidents caused by falling.
In addition, unlike the other two models, the S21 Ultra will use a curved display with QHD+ resolution, and support adaptive 120GHz high refresh rate , and will still use a center-mounted hole-punched screen design.
In terms of appearance, the biggest change in S20 Ultra is on the back. This machine is the first and only Samsung phone with a 10x hybrid zoom function . It will have a new 108MP wide-angle camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera and two 10MP telephoto cameras, which can achieve 10x optical Zoom and 3x optical zoom.
As for the S21+, the machine will no longer be equipped with a curved screen , and the resolution seems to be reduced to the maximum full HD-lower than the current QHD resolution of the S20+. In addition, S21+ seems to be equipped with a plastic case instead of a glass case.
In other respects, S21+ may be equipped with a 6.7-inch screen , plus a 120Hz refresh rate. Compared with last year, the camera configuration is expected to have no major changes . The S20+ has the same camera configuration as the basic model. It will be equipped with a 12MP wide-angle camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 64MP telephoto camera.
In terms of design, S21+ will have a larger camera than before, extending to the side of the device, and the flash will be placed outside the mobile phone camera module. This is a significant difference between the machine and the S21 Ultra.
In terms of color matching, the machine will be released in three colors. In addition to Phantom Black and Phantom Silver, the stylish Phantom Violet will also be offered. After the launch of the beautiful light purple, it is expected to attract many women.
Finally, the S21 will be the cheapest of the three expected S series smartphones. Like last year, the machine was designed to be the smallest. Therefore, the display size is the main difference between this machine and the other two Plus models. The S21 is equipped with a 6.2-inch screen , a flat panel display with Full HD+ resolution, and a plastic back cover.
In terms of color matching, S21 users get the most color choices. The phone will be released in four colors at launch, including Phantom Gray, Phantom White, Phantom Purple and Phantom Pink.
Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra will be equipped with Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 , and the whole series will be equipped with 120Hz refresh rate screens. It is expected to be released in late January next year.
