iOS and iPadOS 14.4 version released to all the users of supported iPhone and iPad models
Apple has released its fourth major update to the iOS 14 operating system - iOS 14.4. Relatively small in volume, the update contains several improved settings including camera and bluetooth capabilities, as well as a number of other fixes.

In addition, an update has been released for iPad - iPadOS 14.4.

iOS 14.4 includes the following improvements:
  • the camera recognizes smaller QR codes;
  • the ability to classify the type of bluetooth device in Settings for the correct identification of the headphones;
  • iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max display a notification if the iPhone camera cannot be detected as a new genuine Apple camera.

In addition, some bugs that are fixed in iOS 14.4 are as follows:
  • image artifacts in HDR photos were eliminated;
  • fixed a bug that led to incorrect switching of languages on the keyboard;
  • fixed an issue that prevented the fitness widget from displaying updated activity data;
  • Audio in the News app for CarPlay now plays automatically upon activation with Siri;
  • Switch Control activation no longer interferes with receiving phone calls from the lock screen.

The iPadOS 14.4 update mainly includes performance improvements and bug fixes. For example, the iPad keyboard has been improved, especially when typing is delayed.

You can download updates in the usual way. To do this, go to "Settings" -> "General" -> "Software update" and follow the instructions.
