IPhone and iPad users won't have to wait long to receive the next major iOS update. The thing is that Apple has released a new version of iOS 14.4 RC (Release Candidate) for developers.
As you know, usually RC versions (formerly called Golden Master versions) appear shortly before the public launch of a new major update. In fact, iOS 14.4 does not include any significant new features.
However, the update allows the camera app to detect smaller QR codes, it is also possible to classify the device type in the Bluetooth settings to correctly identify the headphones, and a few more improvements.
Now, a new version of iOS 14.4 RC is available along with the corresponding iPad developer software update, iPadOS 14.4 RC.
Everyone is probably already well aware that installing a new beta version of iOS or iPadOS on an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch couldn't be easier.
So, for this you need to go to “settings” - “basic” - “software update”, and then click “download and install” at the bottom of this page.
Also, if you wish, you can install the update via iTunes by connecting your iOS device to your computer. However, whichever method you choose, it is recommended that you back up your device before installing new software.
