IPhone 13 Pro will be equipped with a new screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, saving up to 15% of power
On January 7, according to a recent report, Samsung will become the screen supplier of the iPhone 13 series and provide LTPO screens for this series of smartphones.

It is worth noting that in the end, only iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will be equipped with this type of screen, and support 120Hz refresh rate.

A big advantage of LTPO's screen is that it can achieve adaptive high refresh rate, self-adjust the refresh rate according to the content currently displayed on the screen, and reduce power consumption, which can save 5% to 15% of power.

The ordinary iPhone 13 will continue to use the LTPS panel, which means that the screen refresh rate of this phone may still be 60Hz.

By 2022, the iPhone 14 series may be equipped with LTPO screen panels, provided by Samsung and LG, but this year, only Samsung may provide sufficient LTPO capacity support.

Samsung's A3 product line can produce 60,000 panels per month, while LG's E6 product line can only produce 5,000 panel. But LG also plans to expand to 25,000 by the end of this year.
