Google has recently announced its Live Caption feature for Chrome, which gives subtitles to video/audio content in real-time, is coming to Google's Chrome browser.
The new feature sees captions displayed in a box at the foot of the Chrome browser, with the speech-text technology doing the heavy lifting. It’s very good for users who may have to listen to hearing disabilities or just these unable to discern audible content in noisy surroundings.
Previously, this feature has solely been obtainable on Pixel phones and a few Samsung Galaxy handsets, but now it’s rolling out on Chrome on desktop. Once users allow the feature, they’ll see Live Caption whenever listening to audio or watching a video.
