Automobili Lamborghini achieved its best-ever performance in India until the third quarter of this year.

Lamborghini headquarters announced on the 5th that it delivered 6902 vehicles from January to September, an increase of 23% compared to the same period last year.

This is an increase of about 6% compared to 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic. The outlook for the future is positive as demand and order volume across the product portfolio are steadily increasing.

In the past nine months, the US, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) and Asia Pacific all recorded high sales growth.

Compared to the same period last year, the Asia-Pacific region including Korea delivered 1,873 units, a 28% increase. Sales in the Americas increased by 25% (2,407 units) and EMEA by 17% (2,622 units), respectively.

Sales by model also showed an upward trend. The number of super sports utility vehicle (SUV) 'Urus' increased by 25% compared to the same period last year to 4085 units. The brand's representative super sports car 'V10' and 'V12' model lineups also achieved high sales performance. A total of 2,136 units (+28%) of the 'Huracan' were delivered during the same period, and a total of 681 units of the 'Aventador' were delivered.

Stefan Winkelmann, Automobili Lamborghini Chairman and CEO, said: “Lamborghini has not only overcame the difficult environment caused by the COVID-19 pandemic over the past 18 months, but has also maintained sales growth. It is proof of the attractiveness of the model lineup, the strength of its business strategy and dealer network.”
