It is reported that vivo X80 Pro+ will be launched globally in October, equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1
Whistleblower @Yogesh Brar revealed that vivo's new generation flagship will be launched later this year. Prior to this, it was reported that vivo had canceled the launch of the X80 Pro+ in 2022, and there was also news that this new phone would arrive with a new name.

According to Brar, the vivo X80 Pro+ 5G is tentatively scheduled to launch in October 2022, which may change depending on the global supply chain situation. Of course, this is global launch time.

On April 25 this year, it was reported that the vivo X80 series was officially released. The basic version of the vivo X80 standard version is equipped with MediaTek’s 4nm flagship chip Dimensity 9000 (Pro is the dual version of Dimensity 9000 and Snapdragon 8), equipped with V1+ self-developed image chip.

@Yogesh Brar also confirmed that the phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. Based on a 4nm process, this flagship chip has a 10% improvement in CPU and GPU compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, and consumes up to 30% less power.

Apart from the processor, there are no other details yet. But considering that this is vivo's new flagship, we can expect this phone to be equipped with a Zeiss co-branded imaging system and a micro-gimbal design. According to some previous reports, the phone will be equipped with 50MP + 48MP (IMX598) + 50MP (JN1) + 50MP (JN2) quad cameras.

In addition, the machine may also be equipped with a 6.8-inch 2K AMOLED display, support a 120Hz refresh rate, and support 120W fast charging. There is no further news about this new phone, and AndroBliz will bring you more follow-up reports.
