SEGA and developer Creative Assembly announced, this Wednesday (22), Hyenas , a new multiplayer first-person shooter. The game will come to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC sometime in 2023 — without a specific date. There will also be a closed alpha period on computers.
The Total War studio has been working on the title for a few years now and previously described it on a job listing as "something radically different". With the premise of "space piracy", the game will have sessions with five teams of three players each, who will be able to use mechanics involving zero gravity to loot spaceships. Check out the trailer:
In a press release, David Nicholson, executive producer of Hyenas, explained that "the key to the success of modern shooters is understanding what players want to see and where they want to take their experience." He also mentions that there are many pros to working in this type of genre, but he didn't rule out the negative variables.
The only thing the rich care about is the rare Merch, the pop culture swag from the lives we leave behind, which they plunder from the rubble to furnish their Martian mansions.

More Details About Hyenas:
In Hyenas, the world is broken… literally. The billionaires finally made it to Mars, leaving Earth and taxes behind. The zero-gravity technology that propelled their journey destroyed our planet, abandoning us in a drifting slum called “Taint”…The only thing the rich care about is the rare Merch, the pop culture swag from the lives we leave behind, which they plunder from the rubble to furnish their Martian mansions.
