Last month, Ice Universe tweeted that the folding screen of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will have fewer "wrinkles" than its predecessor.

Now, this famous leaker has just shared an image to corroborate this claim, showing the Galaxy Z Fold 4 screen next to the Galaxy Z Fold 3.

As you can see in the image above, the creases on the upcoming Samsung foldable flagship actually appear to be shallower than in the phone it will succeed. However, it is not clear how significant the difference would be in real-world situations.

According to the leaks, Samsung has adjusted the aspect ratio of the screen inside the Z Fold 4. It will be wider and shorter, yielding a 6:5 aspect ratio (versus 6.2:5 on the current model). The external secondary display will also be shorter, with an aspect ratio of 23:9 (compared to 24.5:9).

Today's leaked image also hints at a redesigned hinge, and this is what will improve the "wrinkle" condition of the screen. The rumored Super UTG material could also be useful.

In addition to the screen changes, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is also improved in terms of photography when it owns a 3- camera system on the back, including a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP lens for super wide-angle shooting and a 12MP telephoto camera. Inside, this folding screen smartphone is expected to be powered by the powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 are expected to be announced on August 10 (probably alongside the next-gen Galaxy Watch).
