Following the recently dropped trailer of Black Panther 2, a popular game journalist jeff Grubb has taken to his Twitter handle to debunk a rumor that Black Panther Game may be in development.
He, however, scheduled a show yesterday where he'll discuss more about the new title. The show titled Game Mess Morning which was held on twitch by 11AM EST.
Of course, he said a lot about the new Black Panther game in development, thereby confirming that there's indeed a new title coming up in the gaming world.
Grubb further stretched that the Marvel-themed title goes by the name "Project Rainer" as the development name, and will be published by EA.
Currently, not a lot of information has been leaked so far, but according to Jeff the title is directed by the former vice president of Monolith, Kevin Stephens, now at Electronic Arts. The information was then promptly reported on the twitter of the insider Nibel.
The game should be a single-player open world, let's assume third person action, where the player will have to step forward to become the new Black Panther!
Meanwhile, the exact details regarding the plot or gameplay are unknown, but this is not surprising given that the project is still in the initial phase of development.
