Chevrolet Trailblazer Electric Vehicle released: maximum battery life of 515 kilometers, starting from about 44,995 USD
Chevrolet recently released the Blazer EV electric vehicle, which will be available in summer 2023. It is the brand's first all-electric crossover based on GM's dedicated Ultium platform for electric vehicles, the entry-level 1LT model is priced from $44,995.

Chevrolet will offer the Trailblazer EV in several different configurations and a variety of range options, with a maximum range of 320 miles (515 kilometers), as well as front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.

Models include the 1LT, 2LT, RS and Chevrolet's first-ever electrified SS performance model, in addition to an SS-based pursuit-grade Police Pursuit Vehicle (PPV) for police fleets.

The most powerful of these is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer SS, which features all-wheel drive with up to 557 horsepower (415 kilowatts) and 877 Newton-meters of torque, as well as a unique WOW (Wide Open Watts) mode. Accelerating from 0-60 mph in less than 4 seconds, it will also be equipped with high-performance front Brembo brakes.

All Trailblazer EV models offer independent front and rear suspension for "superior ride comfort and responsiveness." Chevrolet did not disclose battery capacity, but in terms of charging specifications, the new car supports 11.5 kW of Level 2 (AC) home and public charging and standard DC public fast charging capacity, up to 190 kW, depending on the model. When DC fast charging at the maximum rate, it can add about 78 miles (125 kilometers) of range in 10 minutes.

The Trailblazer EV is also equipped with Chevrolet's latest driver-assist technology, which includes reverse automatic braking and advanced parking assist in addition to the standard Chevrolet suite of safety assist technologies.

The latter includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, forward pedestrian braking, following distance indicator, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, and IntelliBeam.

On the outside, LT models get a monochromatic exterior and standard 19-inch wheels, RS models get a sportier look with a black grille and other black accents, plus standard 21-inch wheels, and the SS offers the most aggressive package. SS models have a unique front grille, a two-tone scheme featuring a black roof and A-pillars, standard 22-inch wheels, and more.

The interior features soft-touch materials, air conditioning vents inspired by a turbo engine, a 17.7-inch customisable infotainment touchscreen and an 11-inch instrument cluster. Configurations on RS and SS models add a flat-bottom steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, and ambient lighting.

AndroBliz learned that the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer EV 2LT and RS will be the first to go on sale in the summer of 2023, priced at $47,595 and $51,995 respectively. The SS model will go on sale later in 2023, priced at about $65,995, followed by a 1LT model priced at about $44,995 in the first quarter of 2024. PPV fleet models.
