The S23 Ultra is on the way, and Samsung says the Galaxy Note phone will come in the form of the S Ultra every year
The head of Samsung's mobile division recently confirmed that the company has no plans to relaunch the Galaxy Note smartphone lineup, but will keep the Note spirit alive with new Galaxy S Ultra models launched every year.

Digital blogger @UniverseIce stated that Samsung Lu Taiwen claimed in a recent interview that "the Galaxy Note will come in the form of S Ultra every year starting this year".

Samsung's last Galaxy Note smartphone series was the Note 20, released in August 2020. There was no new Galaxy Note in 2021, and this year, Samsung turned the Galaxy S22 Ultra into the spiritual successor to the Galaxy Note.

Granted, the Galaxy S22 Ultra has done a good job of filling the void left by the cancellation of the Galaxy Note, so it makes sense that Samsung wants to keep the S Ultra going.

Even though the classic "Note" moniker is gone and the release time has been retuned, fans of the S Pen can still get the best of hardware.

Samsung is expected to launch its next S Pen-enabled flagship, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, in Q1 2023, as well as the Galaxy S23 Standard and S23 Plus, which do not support S Pen.
