According to report from Macrumors, all iPhone 14 models will come with 6GB of RAM, but on the Pro models the RAM will be faster.
The report states that the high-end models in the upcoming iPhone range will be equipped with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM, a type of memory that is faster and more efficient than previous standards.
Current iPhones are equipped with LPDDR4X RAM, and this type of memory will continue to be used on standard iPhone 14 models.
Unlike the iPhone 13 range, with the base models being equipped with 4GB of RAM, all models in the iPhone 14 line will come with 6GB of RAM.
However, LPDDR5 memory on high-end iPhones will result in better and more energy-efficient performance than standard models.
In addition to this, another difference between the standard models and the Pro models concerns the processor. Specifically, the standard models will continue to use the A15 chip introduced on the iPhone 13, while the Pro models will be powered by the new A16 chip.
