New rumors shared by insider Jeff Grubb (via Game Mess Decides) suggest the release of Immortals: Fenyx Rising 2 for 2025.

According to the journalist, the Ubisoft title will be a spin-off of the original game and will be based on Polynesian culture.

Codenamed "Oxygen", the title will be set on the islands of Polynesia and is being developed to distance itself from Breath of the Wild - given the strong comparison between Link's adventure and Fenyx Rising . As with the predecessor, players will also be able to choose a boy or a girl as the main hero.

Apparently, Immortals: Fenyx Rising 2 will feature a visual reboot and is expected to feature entirely redone graphics, despite maintaining the series' stylized, almost cartoonish aesthetic. Grubb also states that the game is in pre-development stages and is only planned for release in 2025.

As Ubisoft did not mention official details about Immortals: Fenyx Rising 2, all information should be treated as rumors.

However, Julien Galloudec, director of Immortals Fenyx Rising, has previously commented on his desire to continue a franchise. The Greek adventure creator's idea is to develop something "even bigger" as early conversations about future projects gather steam at Ubisoft studios.
