A well-known Apple product analyst Kuo pointed out that Apple's largest supplier Foxconn's iPhone production base in India may ship the new 6.1-inch iPhone 14 at the same time as China for the first time in the second half of 2022.

Tianfeng International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo tweeted that although Foxconn's Indian factory still has a big gap in iPhone production capacity with China, Apple sees the Indian market as the next key to profitable growth, so it is building a non-Chinese iPhone production base important milestone.

In the second quarter of this year, Apple sold more than 1.2 million iPhones in India, up 94% year-on-year, while the iPad also saw 34% growth in India.

It has been reported that Foxconn is expanding the production of iPhone in India, and recently, according to the Economic Times of India, Foxconn has been approved by the Indian authorities to increase the labor force and expand the existing TamilNadu factory in India to produce more iPhones in India.

The iPhone 14 series includes the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The non-Pro models are not expected to have any major design changes, but the Pro series is expected to feature the faster A16 chip.
