According to the official announcement released by Steam, the Steam client beta version has supported the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con handle.

According to the Steam update announcement, players can use either a single handle in the Joy-Con to play, or a combination of two Joy-Con handles, which is as convenient as a Switch console.

If you want to experience this feature first, you can click "Steam" in the upper left corner of the Steam client, and then click "Settings" => "Account" to join the beta test.

And if you feel or believe that there are still some problems with the Joy-Con handle adaptation, you can map the handle under "Settings" => "Controller" => "General Controller Settings", and you can map it to the configuration you want.
