Recently shared, an alleged internal document from Activision hinted at a November 16 release of Warzone 2. Scheduled for this year, the sequel to the long-awaited battle royale should be one of the publisher's big news, alongside content from Overwatch 2, Modern Warfare II and others.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 could come to PS5, Xbox Series and PC with the desired FOV (Field of View) control feature. Available on PC since day one of Warzone, the field of view adjustment function was not implemented in the battle royale due to performance incompatibilities, but it should be one of the main novelties of the sequel.

The information was released by “Metaphor” on Twitter and suggested the arrival of the tool as a dedicated function for new generation equipment.

According to him, field-of-view control will be compatible with Warzone 2, Modern Warfare II and the DMZ, expanding beyond PC for the first time.

The leaker also reinforced the incompatibility of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in running the game from advanced performance settings.

In response to one netizen, “Metaphor” stated that past-gen platforms will not reach a full 120 FPS capability and will possibly sacrifice frame rates to achieve wider FOVs.

It is worth remembering that nothing has been officially announced by Activision. As such, all information mentioned about Call of Duty: Warzone 2 should be treated as rumors.
