Capcom has decided to announce the Resident Evil 4 Remake at its showcase holding in October. The game is however said to be released on PS4 as well..
Capcom had decided to hold a showcase in parallel with the Tokyo Game Show, and one could suspect that the star of the presentation would be Street Fighter 6 above all.

As for the Resident Evil license, it was above all the presentation of the Gold Edition of Resident Evil Village that was expected, and there was little hope that Leon would point the tip of his nose with Resident Evil 4 Remake.

And indeed, the game did not give any other information, except the addition of a version and an appointment for next month.

When it was announced, Resident Evil 4 Remake was only slated for release on PC and next-gen consoles, but Capcom has obviously revised its plans.

AndroBliz learnt that a PS4 version of Resident Evil 4 Remake will also be released at the same time as the others. For the moment, no Xbox One version has been announced, and we will be surprised to see that the game is finally cross-gen.

Apart from this information, Capcom is already giving us an appointment for next month to learn more about the game. Details on Resident Evil 4 Remake will be shared during the month of October during a Resident Evil Showcase, the date of which is still kept secret.
