Elon Musk has issued a statement, saying that Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup can be used as a "boat" for a short time
Tesla CEO Elon Musk issued a document, revealing the details of the Cybertruck pickup that is constantly "difficult to be ready".

He said the electric pickup truck will be able to "float on the water like a boat, start working in a short time, and can travel across lakes and seas".

"The Cybertruck will have enough water resistance to be used briefly as a boat, traversing rivers, lakes and even less rough seas," Musk tweeted.

The launch of the Cybertruck electric pickup has been delayed multiple times since its 2019 release. It is understood that the car was originally planned to go on sale at the end of 2021. But in August 2021, Tesla confirmed that it would not be able to deliver the car in 2021.

On an earnings call in July this year, Musk said the Cybertruck would be in production by mid-2023.

Notably, Ford, General Motors, and California startup Rivian have all launched their own electric pickups. In August of this year, Ford CEO Jim Farley declared that his own F-150 Lightning electric pickup was the market leader, and teased whether Musk could launch a Cybertruck pickup. Musk immediately replied: "Thank you, I already have one."
