In addition to battery life issues that some users seem to have dropped dramatically, other people are starting to report an issue that only occurs with the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max.

According to these feedbacks, iPhones automatically start restarting every 10-20 minutes when they are charging, regardless of the type of charging via cable or MagSafe.

These constant reboots that only occur when the smartphone is charging, does not only concern iOS 16.0.1 but also iOS 16.0.2 and iOS 16.1 beta.

However, Apple Support has proffered solution and is currently recommending that users should do the following:
  • Fully restore the iPhone using DFU mode
  • Disable the optimized charging option from Settings => Battery
  • Uninstall the Eufy application (even if you don't understand why)

Because of this issue, many iPhone 14 users are returning their iPhone 14 Pro and requesting a new unit.
