Here's the complete list of all Samsung phones that will receive Android 13 update before this year runs out
Samsung is working hard to make One UI 5.0 available to a few Galaxy devices and users accept the risk of participating in the beta testing program.

For regular users, they probably still have to wait to experience One UI 5.0 with Android 13. Sammobile recently shared a list of Galaxy devices that will definitely receive One UI 5.0 officially in the coming months of 2022.

Samsung will release the stable One UI 5.0 update based on Android 13 this year for the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Fold4, and Galaxy Z Flip3 and Z Flip4.

These are flagship phones and are expected to be prioritized for official OS updates, but there's still good news for non-flagship smartphone users. Samsung also wants to bring One UI 5.0 to Galaxy A53 customers by 2023.

The Galaxy A5x series is one of Samsung's most successful mid-range products. The 2022 version was released in March with the promise of 4 years of Android OS upgrades. The Galaxy A53 ships with One UI 4.1 based on Android 12, meaning the upcoming One UI 5.0 will become the first major upgrade.

At this point, it looks like the Galaxy A53 will be the only mid-range Samsung phone to get Android 13 and One UI 5.0 before 2023. Still, Sammobile says it's still quite early, and the update plans are always.

Subject to change, it is likely that other Galaxy models will be added to the One UI 5.0 upgrade plan this year. For now, Sammobile's source only guarantees these models:
  • Galaxy S21 series
  • Galaxy S22 series
  • Galaxy Z Fold3
  • Galaxy Z Fold4
  • Galaxy Z Flip3
  • Galaxy Z Flip4
