Recently, a Whistleblower @Adrien Perea tweeted that R Star’s next-generation Grand Theft Auto work “GTA 6” will be launched in 2025.
He had previously tweeted that he will participate in a meeting in October about “GTA 6”, the game release date and other related content may be announced at that time.
We has learned that recently Adrien Perea accurately broke the information about the 1.6 version of "Cyberpunk 2077", and many industry leaders, such as TGA host Geoff Keighley, also paid attention to him.
Rockstar said they recently suffered a cyber intrusion in which hackers illegally accessed and downloaded classified information, including early development videos for the next-gen GTA game.
In this regard, Rockstar said that the incident is not expected to cause any disruption to its online gaming services, nor will it have a long-term impact on its ongoing projects.
Game analyst Michael Pachter previously stated that the development of "GTA 6" started from 2014 to 2015, the scale of the game is very large, and it was originally scheduled to be released in the second half of 2024.
In other words, although "GTA 6" was leaked, it was too late for Rockstar to do it all over again. However, it seems to be a little delayed relative to the previously exposed 2024, which means that Rockstar is working hard to remedy it.
It is worth mentioning that Grand Theft Auto V was released in 2013, while Grand Theft Auto IV was released in 2008. If "GTA 6" is really set to be released in 2025, "GTA 5" may have a lifespan of 12 years.
