The Crew 2: Dominion Frozen Releases New Free Update This Week, Adding Icy Tracks And New Vehicles

After releasing a 60 FPS update for The Crew 2 on PS5 , Ubisoft received criticism about the state of the game on the next-gen console.

The patch arrived with a lot of performance issues and visual drops — something that worried long-time gamers who were expecting optimized framerates for the game.

However, Dominion Frozen, Season 6 Episode 2 of The Crew 2 , will release on September 14 as a free update. Announced during this Saturday's Ubisoft Forward (10), the update features new tracks, vehicles, events and a Motorpass with various scale levels at no additional cost.

According to the reveal, the game will receive three tracks with enhanced open-world weather effects: Eagle Falls, Five Kings Casino, and Black Rift. In addition, Mazda RX-3 (1972) and Mitsubishi Eclipse Star Edition (1999) can be used freely in street racing.

The update provides for the debut of nine seasonal events from September 14 to October 26. A Motorpass also comes with unprecedented rewards and guarantees the first free levels, offering the DMC DeLorean if players reach level 25 of the pass.

The Crew 2 is available for PS4 , PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC.
