Report coming directly from UK Police department has confirm the arrest of the teenage hacker involved in leaking GTA 6
The beta game video of Rockstar's highly anticipated game masterpiece "GTA 6" was leaked online last weekend, causing a sensation in the industry and becoming the most significant game leak in history. However, what is surprising is that the black hand behind this leak is only a 16-year-old teenager.

London police said they had arrested a 17-year-old hacker in Oxfordshire in connection with a cyber attack and said he was still in custody, without releasing any other details.

Police declined to disclose the details of the case, but many of the details dovetail with the recent high-profile hacking campaign.

This spring, London police also arrested and released seven teenagers linked to the Lapsus$ hacking group. Today's arrests also come days after two security breaches believed to be related to Lapsus$, most notably the leak of early footage of Grand Theft Auto 6 due to a "cyber intrusion".

It is reported that the hacker group Lapsus$ has been involved in multiple hacking incidents since the end of last year, and many technology companies including Microsoft, Samsung, Nvidia and Ubisoft have been attacked by the group before. The hacker group has stated that its main target is Money, neither political nor sponsored by anyone.

AndroBliz has reported that Rockstar previously acknowledged that “GTA 6” was leaked, but said it would not have a long-term impact on its ongoing project.

In March, Bloomberg reported that a 16-year-old was behind several major attacks by the group, and police visited his home near Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.

In addition, the US ride-hailing app Uber also said it was recently attacked by Lapsus$ and is now in contact with the FBI and the US Department of Justice.

In a statement following the Uber breach, the company wrote on its blog: "We believe this attacker is part of a hacking group called Lapsus$ that has grown increasingly over the past year or so. active", and the GTA 6 leaker claimed in a forum thread to be the same person who was involved in the Uber attack.
