One of the protagonists of the new range of iPhone 14 is certainly the new 6.7-inch standard model that will be sold at a lower price of 1000 dollars.

So far, the aforementioned model has been referred to as the “iPhone 14 Max”, but it appears that Apple's chosen name is iPhone 14 Plus.

The leak comes from a Twitter user who shared the image of the alleged transparent MagSafe Case of the new iPhone 14. In the photo we can see the label with the name “iPhone 14 Plus”.

It is important to take this information with a grain of salt, as we cannot confirm the veracity of the photo. In fact, it could be a counterfeit cover even if the name “Plus” makes perfect sense for such a model.

Apple first used the name “Plus” with the iPhone 6 Plus in 2014 and the iPhone 6 line is still one of the best-selling iPhone range to date.

The Plus is an identical but larger version than the standard one and it would make a lot of sense for Apple to bring back its iconic “Plus” branding for this new 6.7-inch iPhone 14 model.

Apple's marketing team never ceases to surprise us, so it's entirely possible that this new 6.7-inch version of the iPhone 14 is called the iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Max, or something else entirely different. Either way, we'll know for sure exactly in a week's time.
