A new concept from Parker Ortolani imagines what Apple may have in store for watchOS 10, with a focus on new features for Apple Watch Ultra, Live Activities and more.
Live Activities are one of the new features in iOS 16. Coming with iOS 16.1 by the end of autumn, Live Activities bring real-time notifications that continuously update on our iPhone lock screen and iPhone dynamic island. 14 Pro.
Parker's concept envisions how Apple could bring Live Activities-style functionality to the Apple Watch with watchOS 10.
As we can see from the image above, Live Activities can appear at the bottom of the clock faces, just like on the iOS 16 lock screen.
Beyond that, Parker imagines what a new sports app might look like on the Apple Watch.
One of the most fascinating things about the concept is the sleep mode . One of the criticisms of the Apple Watch Ultra is the lack of recovery-focused features. This new “ Rest Mode ” app could intelligently suggest when someone should take a day off from training, without affecting other fitness data.
Exclusive to Apple Watch Ultra, Parker imagines what a new “Explore” app for hiking might look like.
There is also a dedicated Safari app to take advantage of the Ultra's large display.
