According to an official at British retailer GAMER, the next-gen version of the title could arrive on December 9.
Despite currently producing three games in the franchise , CD Projekt RED still makes mysteries about the release date of The Witcher 3 in the new generation.

However, according to an employee of the British retailer GAMER, the release of the version may have been delayed for the 9th of December.

According to the report from Game Infinitus, the store has updated the GOTY Edition version of the game in its database, which presumably could be the PS5 and Xbox Series S|X version. The information corroborates the window previously established by the Polish studio — fourth quarter of 2022.

The next-gen version of The Witcher 3 will feature several improvements over the original game's release, including ray tracing, improved loading times, and new content based on the Netflix series. Of course, the Heart of The Stone and Blood and Wine DLCs will also be part of the package.

Finally, it is worth remembering that the information has not been officially confirmed by CD Projekt RED. The above date may be a placeholder, so treat the text with caution.

However, Halk Hogan, one of the creators of the HD Reworked Project, stated that CDPR was in talks to release fan-made mods on the new version of The Witcher 3 — and the publisher confirmed the information.
