Embracer Group CEO Lars Wingefors is "very happy" with fans satisfied with the new Saints Row, albeit a "bit sad" with the dissatisfied part. Apparently, the exec expected more from the launch.

Volition announced on Tuesday that it plans to release new content for the Saints Row reboot, this time focusing on the game's story mode.

In addition, the studio has promised an update with more than 200 bug fixes for the end of November — although it has not confirmed the date.

The announcement of the news came through the title's official blog, where it was also confirmed that the priority at the moment is "developing and providing improvements in relation to new features".
We plan to support Saints Row for the long term. 2023 will be a hugely exciting year for game owners, who will have a host of new features including new story content (included in the Expansion Pass but also available for purchase separately), new free experiences and areas of the city to explore.

All of this, of course, doesn't include the even bigger quality of life updates, more free packs, and more things we're not quite ready to talk about yet. Please stay tuned for regular updates on our progress and to find out what's new in Saints Row.

The Saints Row reboot is now available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
