Tesla’s (Nasdaq: TSLA) FORM 10-Q filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) today shows that in the third quarter of this year, Tesla’s revenue in the Chinese market was $5.131 billion, a year-on-year increase of 64.8%.

In the third quarter, Tesla’s total revenue was $21.454 billion, up 56 percent from $13.757 billion in the same period a year earlier, according to the filing.

Among them, the US market revenue was 10.236 billion US dollars, compared with 6.414 billion US dollars in the same period last year.

The filing also shows that Tesla did not sell any bitcoins it held in the third quarter, nor did it buy any additional bitcoins.

The value of its digital assets remained at $218 million at the end of the third quarter, the same as at the end of the second quarter, as the price of bitcoin almost remained at just under $20,000 at the end of both the second and third quarters.

In the first half of 2021, Tesla purchased $1.5 billion worth of Bitcoin. As of the first half of this year, Tesla had converted about 75% of that bitcoin into fiat currency.
