Although several rumors claim that the iPhone SE 4 will have a similar design to the iPhone XR, a new report reveals some news regarding the display of the next budget iPhone model.

In a tweet shared with super followers, analyst Ross Young revealed that the company has yet to decide whether to integrate a 6.1-inch OLED display or a 5.7 or 6.1-inch LCD display on the future iPhone SE 4.

OLED technology is much more expensive than traditional LCDs, but falling prices for OLED panels could allow Apple to use them on the next budget iPhone models, especially as the device will only launch in 2024 and prices may still drop.

Regardless of whether Apple uses a 5.7-inch or 6.1-inch display, Young believes the iPhone SE 4 will feature a notch design, but it's not yet known whether Apple will introduce Face ID or integrate Touch ID into the power button.

An iPhone SE model with an OLED display and Touch ID integrated into the power button could be tempting to many users, but will these new features raise the price?
