The producer's CEO, Jon Feltheimer, said that the intention is to expand the success of the franchise "with a great project in games".
Lionsgate, an independent Hollywood film production company, recently revealed that it is in talks to produce a AAA game of John Wick , the action film franchise starring Keanu Reeves.

The information was released a recent earnings call with investors. Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer said executives wanted to expand on the franchise's success with a major video game project — also saying they were already "proposing."
I don't want to get ahead of myself here, but we believe there is a great AAA game to be made with John Wick. We are submitting proposals. We are certainly interested in taking this further, but I don't want to say anything more about that at the moment.


The John Wick franchise is booming right now. In addition to the new AAA that may come, there will also be the fourth film in 2023, as well as a spin-off starring actress Ana de Armas (still no release date) and the prequel series “The Continental”, which arrives in 2023 at Amazon Prime catalog.

It is worth remembering that the saga also debuted in games in 2020, with the strategy-based indie John Wick Hex.
